Happy Tuesday is an alternative rock band based in Cincinnati, OH, led by multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Max Patrick (vocals, guitar) and Hannah MacNeal (vocals, violin, guitar, keys). Their music blends sharp lyricism with sweeping melodies, drawing influence from artists like Radiohead, Grouplove, and a broad spectrum of modern and classic indie-rock.
Formed in January 2021 after an impromptu move to Raleigh, NC during the COVID lockdown, the project began as a creative outlet: Max and Hannah posted weekly Tuesday covers that quickly built an online following, eventually earning them a finalist spot in the Smashing Pumpkins cover contest. Since then, Happy Tuesday has developed into a full-fledged original project rooted in honesty, catharsis, and the belief that music can heal—whether inspired by the corruption they see in the world or their beloved cats, Ringo and Cadbury.
The band has grown significantly in the last few years, touring throughout the Midwest and performing at numerous venues and festivals, including CliftonFest (2024). Their work has been featured on ICRCTV, and their music has gained attention from local press: their 2025 music video “Moment With You” premiered on CincyMusic, which also spotlighted Hannah for their 2025 Women’s Month feature.
Happy Tuesday has continued to expand their catalog, releasing new singles in anticipation of their upcoming EP, The Human Constant. Their debut single, “Woe to the Fallen,” marked the beginning of a darker and more expansive musical era—one that the band is now exploring further with their latest releases.
